Applus RTD UK are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to fill this permanent role based at our site in Merseyside. The successful candidate will have a background in NDT and Supervisory/Management and hold a CCNSG site safety passport. This role has several responsibilities including:-

Responsible for the day-to-day running of all matters within the Stanlow Refinery and the staff reporting directly to him;

Responsibility for meeting and exceeding budgeted sales and profit targets for the site.

·
Responsible for all aspects of each project to ensuring the safe and effective completion of work on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards;

·
Daily management of issues including resources, personnel, grievances, disciplinary action and allocation of individual responsibilities ;

·
Reporting of site matters to the Regional Manager on a regular and as required basis;

·
Financial authorisation of site expenditure e.g. equipment purchase and rental, training and personnel expense claims etc., within his sign off limits set by the Directors;

·
  
Authorisation of Essar invoice prior to submission as required;

·
  
Meet with all Essar Site Inspection Managers on a regular basis to build good relationships, and gather information and maximise growth potential on site:

Liaison with Essar Inspection Manager in particular regards to planning forthcoming shutdown requirements and dealing with complaints and related issues;

·
  
Assisting the Commercial Dept with project / contract costing;

·
  
Responsible for all materials, equipment and personnel; ensure all relevant working practices are adhered to and materials and equipment are handled safely and to all applicable standards:

Personnel selection, appraisal and management; including training plan for site personnel:

·
  
Keep current with all technical developments for all product lines; be able to discuss these with Shell as required;

·
  
Responsible for ensuring all Work scopes and Job Pack preparation are completed accurately and to laid down standards;

·
  
Leads Site and Team Leader Management and communication;

·
 Maintain & Manage the UKAS company quality standards in accordance to our quality system.

·
 Responsible for ensuring all Client reporting is completed fully and accurately in a timely manner
